She is an Argentine doctor and politician, originally from the province of Catamarca.

Her beginnings date back to when she decided to live in the province of Córdoba due to her interest in studying medicine. She graduated with a specialization in surgery in 1982. From there, she completed an internship at the Rawson Hospital in Córdoba and later specialized in infectious diseases in the city of Buenos Aires, before returning to her home province to practice medicine.

After several years working in the health sector of the province and holding various positions, in 2005 she was appointed Director of the Reference Center of the Ministry of Social Development in Catamarca, a position she held until 2007.

However, her political career was driven not only by personal interest but also by a family tradition, as her father, Sebastián Corpacci, was Minister of Government under Vicente Saadi. In 2007, she announced her candidacy and was elected Vice Governor of Catamarca—a landmark moment for the province, as she became the first woman elected to a high office by popular vote. Later, in 2009, she assumed the role of National Senator for Catamarca.

In 2011, she launched her campaign for governor of the province, a race she won again through popular support, becoming the first woman to hold such a significant position in Catamarca.

Her provincial policy focused on restoring public services, building roads, housing, schools, and hospitals. Her most ambitious project was to establish mining as a state policy and a key resource to be developed in the province of Catamarca.

In 2019, she ran as a candidate for National Deputy for the Frente de Todos and secured a seat for the 2019–2023 term.
