Magdalena Ferreira Lamas is an Argentine businesswoman born in Buenos Aires, on February 23, 1965. She currently lives and serves as Vice President and General Manager of Avon for the North Latin America Market Group in Mexico.
She studied and graduated in Marketing at the University of Business and Social Sciences (UCES), then completed a postgraduate degree in Business Administration at the University of San Andrés, both universities located in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
Before starting her career at Avon, Magdalena Ferreira Lamas worked as Sales Manager at Cervecería y Maltería Quilmes. She also worked as Brand Manager at Pepsi and for 7up soft drinks.
Once she fulfilled her dream of joining Avon, she held various key positions such as Sales Director in Peru, National General Manager in Bolivia, and Director of Strategic Planning in Argentina.
Her career in Mexico
She also served as Vice President of Sales for Avon in the North Market Group, where she was in charge of sales strategy for Mexico, Central America, and the Dominican Republic, mainly focused on the progress and expansion of Representative development, achieving Avon’s leadership in Direct Sales. Previously, she held the position of Vice President of Marketing for Avon NoLA. During this period, her main goal was to meet commercial objectives and ensure the satisfaction of both end users and Avon Representatives. In addition, she was in charge of Fashion & Home Latin America, a position she held from August 2011 to January 2013.
