
Born January 13, 1954, Denise Morrison is an American business executive currently serving as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Campbell Soup Company. She was named the 21st most powerful woman in business by Fortune magazine.
Morrison was unanimously elected to the board of directors of Campbell in October 2010. She is the 12th leader in the company’s more than 140-year history.
Born in Elberon, New Jersey, Morrison is one of four sisters who have all pursued successful careers in business. The Morrison sisters are known for their strong sense of purpose and leadership, often cited as examples of women empowering women to become leaders. Denise graduated from Long Branch High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in economics and psychology from Boston College, graduating with honors and active in extracurricular achievements.
Among her most significant accomplishments is her appointment as President and CEO of Campbell Soup Company in 2011. Campbell is globally recognized as a leading provider of consumer food products, with a focus on simple meals such as soup, beverages, snacks, and baked goods.
