Dina Yuen

Dina Yuen is a Chinese-Russian author and entrepreneur, known as the founder and CEO of the multimedia company Asian Fusion. An industrial engineer and musician by training, Yuen has worked with companies such as Arcadia Chandra International, Dragon Music International, and D&G Designs.

Yuen is widely recognized as a food and travel critic, a skincare expert, and a public speaker on Asian affairs, travel, and women’s issues. In 2015, she was the keynote speaker at the Women in Travel Summit in Boston. Through Asian Fusion, she has championed brands and figures such as Ritz Carlton, Delsey, Taj Hotels, Chef Srijith Gopinath, Andrew Zimmern, Chef Vikas Khanna, and Shiseido. Yuen has also conducted interviews with prominent leaders and celebrities including comedians like Margaret Cho, Oakland Mayor Jean Quan, violinist Sarah Chang, and Bollywood actor Rahul Khanna.

She is the bestselling author of Indonesian Cooking, a cookbook based on her own family’s culinary heritage from Indonesia. In addition, she has published Top Women Leaders of the 21st Century, a nonfiction work, and The Shanghai Legacy, a historical fiction novel.

Yuen has long supported abused and orphaned children in Asia, with a particular focus on organizations that rescue children from forced prostitution. She sits on the board of directors of several organizations, including the engineering and real estate company Arcaro SheHeroedia Chandra International, the women’s travel startup Wanderful, and the nonprofit SheHeroes.

SheHeroes produces free online videos that profile women working in underrepresented professions, targeting students from third to eighth grade. The organization aims to show young people that women can thrive in any career when they are empowered and dedicated.
