Over the past 20 years, José Bereciartúa has led several prestigious business institutions in the Argentine business sphere, including the Basque Argentine Business Chamber, the Economic Federation of the Province of Buenos Aires (FEBA), and the Vicente López Business Chamber. He is also a founder, along with other leaders, of PLAND, the Regional Business Chamber of the Northern Zone.
Since 1997, he has also served as Secretary General of the Argentine Confederation of Medium-Sized Enterprises (CAME), an entity that channels the efforts of 1,491 federations, chambers, centers, and industrial unions across the country. CAME has consolidated its role as a business union benchmark, defending the interests of its members before public and private actors, while generating initiatives and actions aimed at modernizing and strengthening them.
Within this organization, José Bereciartúa also founded and promoted CAME SOS VOS, through which he encourages a democratic and federal type of leadership, giving a voice to diverse sectors and all provinces within CAME.

In 2018, he was appointed by then-president Mauricio Macri as trustee of the Health Insurance Organization for Entrepreneurs, Professionals, and the Self-Employed (OSDEPYM), a position he held until October 2018.
During his administration, OSDEPYM reached several milestones, including surpassing 40,000 members and 11,000 healthcare providers in its network, as well as doubling the number of service branches throughout the country.
He also regularized the registries, achieved IRAM quality certification standards, and launched a technological transformation within the institution. This included the implementation of a video call service called “Doctor OSDEPYM,” which offers immediate medical consultations, the modernization of branches with “Virtual Service Stations” for inquiries, and the creation of a virtual assistant named Camila.

Shortly after his departure from OSDEPYM, Bereciartúa was appointed president of Instituto Asegurador Mercantil. The appointment took place during the Annual Ordinary and Extraordinary Assembly, with the objective of enhancing services on a national scale, federalizing the company as much as possible, and increasing the entity’s presence in both corporate and individual insurance markets. He also aims to develop a strong digital engagement strategy for current and potential clients.
