Maximiliano del Intento Ortiz is a Brand Designer and Identity Strategist with an extensive track record. He is a university professor specializing in Brand Design and Identity Systems (DIGEMSI) at the School of Architecture, Design and Urbanism (FADU), University of Buenos Aires (UBA). He has contributed to more than 100 brand projects at both national and international levels, bringing a strategic and design-oriented vision to communication challenges.

He holds degrees in Graphic Design and Image & Sound Design from the University of Buenos Aires, Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism.

Current Academic Positions
Maximiliano is currently a faculty member of the Postgraduate Specialization Program in Brand Design and Management at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA/FADU), which grants the title “Specialist in Brand Design and Management.”
He is a tenured professor in the Graphic Design program at UBA, teaching in the Sapoznik Chair: Institutional Identity Design.
He also teaches at Universidad Maimónides (UMAI), where he leads the undergraduate seminar Methodologies and Strategies for Visual Identity Design.
Previously, he held a teaching position in History of Communication 2 at UBA’s Graphic Design Department.
He has also served as a guest lecturer at the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE) in the departments of Marketing and Market Research and Digital Marketing and E-Commerce.

Professional Career
Maximiliano served as Head of Design for Internal Communication at Telecom Argentina S.A., and as a Strategic Online Designer for Arnet, Telecom Personal, Yellow Pages, and Grupo Telecom.

He has worked on brand identity and strategy projects for companies such as Grupo Roggio, Banelco, Cliba, Royal Canin, Telecom Argentina, Permaquim, Udaondo Hospital, BNP Paribas Bank, Banco Hipotecario, the University of Buenos Aires, Arnet, Viva Nuevatel Bolivia, Telecom Personal, among many others—some of which remain confidential.

He is a corporate image and branding strategy consultant for leading brands both in Argentina and internationally. He is also a UX/UI specialist, team trainer, and expert in Agile methodologies.

Maximiliano has participated in the design and strategic development of more than 100 Tier 1 brand identities across Argentina, the United States, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Uruguay, Mexico, Panama, Chile, and Spain.

He is currently the director and co-founder of Cinnamon Ideas, a design and visual communication studio composed of seasoned professionals in graphic design, branding, development, and identity, with a focus on online and offline brand positioning. He is also the co-founder of the most prominent online reputation management company in Latin America.

Additionally, he is a founding partner of OpenBrand Corp (www.openbrand.agency), a Florida-based agency specialized in brand strategy and activation with a strong presence in the U.S.
