Vanessa Alfaro

Vanessa Alfaro is a Bolivian designer, entrepreneur, model, and actress based in Los Angeles, California. Alfaro is the president and CEO of Sonne Global Inc., a company dedicated to fashion design, brand licensing, marketing, and advertising. She created the first and only prêt-à-porter women’s line for FIFA during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Alfaro remains the only designer who worked with FIFA on a women’s collection using official World Cup logos.

She has worked in fashion design, product licensing, and marketing for major corporations such as Pepsi, Toyota, Nestlé, Truper, Petrobras, Suzuki, and FIFA.

Alfaro began modeling in Bolivia at the age of 17. She had an active career in editorial and runway modeling and earned several beauty pageant titles, including “Most Photogenic” and “The Most Beautiful Between Models.”

At the age of 19, she founded Sonne Imagen & Producción in Cochabamba, Bolivia, while still studying Business Engineering at the Catholic University of Bolivia. She graduated with honors and went on to earn a Master’s degree in Finance. She also specialized in graphic and fashion design. At 24, Alfaro got married and moved to the United States. Once there, she continued her career as a designer, model, actress, and singer.

Alfaro has created more than 27 collections that include dresses, blouses, pants, and skirts designed with FIFA’s official logos. Some of her themed collections include “Wonders of the World,” “Celestial Beauty,” “Old School is Cool,” “Love Sports,” “Love My Country,” “Lifestyle,” and “Vanessa Alfaro Haute Couture.”

Her work specializes in bridal gowns, haute couture, leather goods, and high-end jewelry. Her designs have been worn by the vice president of Bolivia, beauty queens, film stars, and television personalities.
