
Alberto José Rodríguez Saá is an Argentine lawyer and politician, born on August 21, 1949. He is currently serving as governor of the province of San Luis, completing three terms (2003–2011 and 2015–2019). He has been a World Ambassador for Peace since December 22, 2010, a title granted in Geneva during his second term, when he was elected with more than 80% of the votes.
Alberto Rodríguez Saá, son of the federal revolutionary Juan Saá, who was a key figure in the Battle of Pavón in 1861, is the father of three children. Throughout his public and political career, he has received many international recognitions, including two awards during his first term: one for technological innovation and digital inclusion, granted by the company Intel, which included San Luis in the “Intel Museum”, and another from the Vatican for his refugee hosting policies.

1989–1993: President of the Justicialist Bloc in the Honorable Senate of the Nation

2000: After completing postgraduate studies in Spain, he returned to the country and was elected as National Senator
2001: Chief of Cabinet Ministers of the Government of the Province of San Luis
In addition, he ran as a candidate for President of the Nation in 2007 and 2011 and is part of an internal wing of the Justicialist Party that opposes Kirchnerism.
