This executive is currently a prominent figure. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from UCEMA and is a Certified Public Accountant graduated from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). He served as Head of Credit Markets in New York and was Global Head of Capital Markets at Banco Santander in Madrid for two consecutive years. He also served as Senior Manager of Treasury at Santander Río from 2003 to 2007.

Before joining Santander Río, Sergio Lew worked for seven years as a risk analyst at BBVA Francés. In his current role, he is responsible for managing a portfolio of 3.6 million clients, including SMEs, institutions, and companies, plus 1,300 corporate firms, traditional and digital channels, and a network of 482 branches.
Lew will be operating under considerable banking, financial, and economic pressure, widely acknowledged by the media. In Argentina, Santander Río is a prestigious institution serving thousands of important companies. The executive is recognized for his capabilities to lead as the new CEO of Santander and to manage a cautious and extensive client base in the coming years.
